Hawkwood Baronial Birthday

Early this spring, our local Barony celebrated it's birthday! I joined Baron Tiberius and Renee in the 3v3 Rapier Melees. We didn't win, but we did have fun! Also at that event, my wife, Signy the Skald, and I submitted our first Arts and Sciences project, a set of spice boxes, for a largesse derby. We won! We were also, unrelatedly, chosen to represent our Barony as Baronial Champions, her for Bardic, and myself for Rapier. Huzzah!

Our spice box entry! I traced and wood burned the mortar and pestle into the lids of each of 13 boxes, stained them, and then adhered a felt lining inside. My wife made a set of spice blends for each, including some period blends, and included an ingredients card.
